art History Adventures

Discover the world of the visual arts and learn about important art from ancient history to contemporary artist. Lessons focus on a specific era or technique.

  • What do workshops cost?

    Virtual Workshops are $250 for 60- 90 minutes. These can be webinar with unlimited participants or meeting style with a cap of 30 participants.

    In Person Workshops begin at $300 for 60-90 minute programs for up to 25 participants. You can book multiple sessions if you have larger classes or groups. Programs can also be paid for through ticketing.

    Note: Rachel is located in Long Beach, CA. In person workshops are available for the Greater LA area and Orange County. Travel fess may apply for locations farther than 30 miles. If you are a non-profit or a marginalized community group, please inquire about alternate pricing options.

  • What supplies do we need for workshops?

    Workshop includes art supplies for up to 25 participants per workshop. Rachel will bring materials needed for the specific activity. For virtual workshops supply lists will be provided for participants. Rachel believes in art for all, and materials are common household supplies or upcycled goods.

    Note: For Sip & Collage Workshops beverages need to be supplied by the client or participants.

  • What if I want a more specific theme?

    Rachel is versed in a variety of topics and is happy to research new themes and ideas to create the perfect workshop for you! Let me know what you are interested in the booking form.

  • What do clients need to provide for an in-person workshop?

    A well-lit indoor space to fit the number of participants at tables and chairs. If tech is available (a projector screen, TV, or smart board) that is a bonus! Rachel will likely bring paper handouts if needed. For art classes access to a sink or bathrooms for handwashing and clean-up is recommended.
