Circles, Holes, & Windows is a series of collages that explore the complexity of the human experience through our internal and external dialogues. The works embody the cyclical nature of life through the use of repeated circles and images. In these pieces I try to uncover the reason why people may crave change but end up making the same decisions time and again. Using color, text, and texture of the layered paper, I created abstracted collages to express my inner thoughts on themes of addiction, miscommunication, and the life of an artist.
